Smoke Free Coventry is an alliance of local businesses and organisations, which is committed to providing a smoke free environment at work and leisure, helping smokers to quit and reducing the accessibility of tobacco to under-age children. The alliances key support comes from Coventry City Council, Coventry Teaching Primary Care Trust and the Coventry Partnership – the local strategic partnership (LSP).
Although smokefree legislation was introduced on 1st July, Smoke Free Coventry continues to address the six strands of the Department of Health's Tobacco Programme, which will each contribute to the overall reduction in smoking in Coventry.
